  • TaskGen: An Open-Sourced Agentic Framework that Uses an AI Agent to Solve an Arbitrary Task by Breaking it Down into Subtasks. Streaming

  • Build real-time order notifications with Eventstream’s CDC connector. In this post, the Fabric team at Microsoft demonstrates how to build real-time order notifications using the EventStreams Change Data Capture (CDC) Connector. The tutorial explains how to capture and process data changes in real-time, ensuring that order notifications are timely and accurate. My thoughts: Integrating real-time notifications into order processing systems can drastically improve user experience and operational efficiency. As outlined in this post, the use of EventStreams CDC Connector is a testament to the power of real-time data processing and its impact on modern applications. Having said that, my biggest “gripe” with the Eventstream and EventHouse implementation is that there is no way to feed back to - for example, Kafka - from the EventHouse. This is a major limitation, in my opinion.
